SxC : An unexpected turn of events

It was the start of a new day, the sky was filled with clouds, but here and there the sun still shone through and made it to a pleasantly warm morning. It was actually a pretty good day for fishing, which was one of the first thoughts that Spyro had that morning, the second being to bring Cynder with him. So when he met her at the breakfast table in the temple later that morning, he asked if she wanted to come with him.

“Sure, sounds like a good idea Spyro”.
“Great, then let's eat up and get going!” Spyro eagerly answered.

The purple dragon's head was filled with thoughts of relief and anxiety as he watched from the high cliff. The sun was shining brightly down upon him, as he contemplated on the recent happenings. It was only moment's ago when he had woken from his slumber and realized that their accomplishment wasn't a dream. They had, indeed, successfully defeated the Dark Master himself, Malefor. Spyro just contented himself to staring up at the sky, watching the clouds go by. He looked to his left and smiled. Cynder was sleeping peacefully beside him, resting her head on his chest. It would seem that their recent endeavour had tuckered her out completely. He just grinned slyly and turned back to watch the clouds.

He had loved her, and they had just performed the act that sealed them as mates.

The Waterfall.Down the valley of Avalar, a young, purple dragon named Spyro was walking around, looking at the vast and beautiful place. It had been one week since he and Cynder defeated the dark master Malefor and peace was returned to their world. Spyro kept walking until he passed by a waterfall, there he noticed a young, black dragoness walking near it, he recognized her immediately as Cynder, the one who had accompanied and aided him in his war against Malefor.

He approached Cynder hoping to talk to her but as he came closer he noticed a tear streaming down from her eye, he stopped and looked her walking away into the entrance that took to the waterfThe Waterfall. by ~lizarfan1

Art Contest!

Alright, we are now going to hold our first contest

Here's some of the rules, thanks to a friend of mine, *Imwritten:

All submissions must be related to (of course) Spyro and Cynder.

Each artist may submit up to three artworks.

Due to the fact that we, the group, allow explicit artworks

, they can be of the following ratings:

Safe, meaning acceptable for all ages
Questionable, meaning there's something in the artwork that can be questionable when it comes to who can view it
Explicit... don't need to explain BUT! They must have mature filters on... make them warnings though And as long as they have the filter up heck, through some mating in the mix

As for judging, we'll base them on technique and looks. These days, no SXC artwork are original XD And speaking of judges, I have to find some who will volunteer as one!

Just to clarify, by artworks, I mean drawings... We'll have another contest for literature soon ^^

Now, as for winners, we'll work like this:

First Place

Winner of first place will be recognized as our featured artist

As for the rest, they too will be recognized greatly

And for submittions:

We will create a folder that all entries must be submitted to.

Judges may enter an artwork

They must be, and I mean MUST BE, your own artwork, you can not submit other's artwork.

All artworks are due the second Friday of June (June 14, 2013)... SO WHATCHA WAITING FOR?!
